Radiesse

Radiesse is a Calcium based filler. We use Radiesse to restore volume in the cheeks and jawline. At Revive we consider this our “hardest worker.” Radiesse has a longer lifetime than hyaluronic acid fillers, lasting up to 18 months in some patients. Our favorite procedure with Radiesse is the non-surgical facelift where 2-3 syringes of this filler are used for total volume restoration in the face. Radiesse is also used in the hands to remove signs of aging. Don’t let your hands give away your age!

Restylane

The Restylane family of fillers are our favorite for lips, perioral lines, and tear troughs. We use this filler in other areas too. Galderma’s filler line includes Restylane, Refyne, Defyne, and Lyft. We are obsessed with them all.

Botox

It’s a simple, easy solution that reduces the muscle contractions that cause crow’s feet, fine lines, and wrinkles.

Dysport

Dysport is Galderma’s neurotoxin. Dysport is a smaller particle. At Revive we use this in conjunction with other treatments including Botox to increase effectiveness in some of the smaller creases and wrinkles.

Xeomin

Merz developed Xeomin in Europe. Xeomin is the #1 neurotoxin in Europe. We love Xeomin, as it is known as the “natural Botox.” When initiating neurotoxin therapies, we often suggest Xeomin for first timers as the likelihood of becoming “immune” to neurotoxin decreases with Xeomin compared to Botox and Dysport.

 

Kybella

Kybella injections are the only proven injectable treatment option for “submental fullness,” commonly referred to as a double chin. Submental fullness is often a natural progression of aging and can usually persist even with a great diet and exercise. Obagi is one of our favorite skincare brands at Revive Lifestyle Medicine, and their Blue Peel never disappoints. This chemical peel reveals younger, brighter skin with every session.  Laser hair removal is the most common use of aesthetic medical lasers. Facts about CO2 Aesthetics

  • Removes layers of skin tissue in a fractionated method (columns of skin removed with surrounding tissue untreated to aid in healing).

  • Reduces age spots, deep wrinkles, texture irregularities, scarring (acne/trauma), stretch marks, and dull

  • CO2 is the best treatment for the most results with one treatment

  • If you have the time to heal (7-10 days), it is like having multiple non-invasive treatments at once.

  • CO2 Laser is an in-office procedure that may require pre and post medication and management (antibiotic, antiviral, pain management)  Depending on the depth of the treatment.

  • This is the only treatment that will actually reduce pore size.

Q: How do you know if the CO2RE is right for you?

Ideal candidates for CO2RE are in their 30s or older with skin damage caused by exposure to the sun, aging, discoloration and other skin imperfections. It is ideal for anyone seeking younger-looking skin without the long downtime associated with conventional resurfacing procedures. 

Other candidates include those with acne scarring and stretch marks.

Q: What is the procedure like? 

You can expect some moderate discomfort during the treatment, but the anesthetic applied prior to the procedure typically makes any discomfort very tolerable. For more aggressive, higher powered treatments, our providers may decide to use a subcutaneous anesthetic. Over-the-counter pain relievers may be taken in the days after the procedure to alleviate any residual discomfort.

Q: How many treatments will I need:

Generally, you will achieve significant improvement after only one treatment. In the days after the treatment, your skin will gradually look softer and smoother. Age spots and uneven skin texture will start to show immediate improvement

Q: How long do results last?

The durability of CO2RE results approaches that of surgical procedures. However, there are a number of variables that will determine how long you can expect the results to last, including your health, age and how well you care for your skin. Providers at Revive will be happy to provide you with useful skin care tips to make your results last as long as possible.

Q: What can I expect after my procedure

Immediately following the procedure, you can expect a sensation similar to sunburn, which may last for several hours. In the days following treatment, you will experience peeling of dead skin from the treatment area. This is a natural exfoliation process and may last seven to 10 days.

Q: What is the cost for a Co2re treatment?

Cost depends on the area being treated, the condition being treated and the aggressiveness of the treatments themselves. After a throughout consultation, our providers will create a treatment plan to meet your personal needs. Her staff will help you understand your estimate.

The Syneron Candela Laser is the newest laser with Fractional technology.  The pattern and variability of depth control of this laser is like driving a Ferarri.  The benefit is that the patient will be more comfortable and there is less tissue destruction, faster healing times due to the pattern of the laser beams.  (The beams come out in a random pattern, so one area of the skin doesn’t receive too much heat at the same time.).
